Navigate to the Broadcom/VMware portal to download the Avi Load Balancer Conversion Tool or the Controller OVA/qcow2 file.
Import the image into your orchestrator (e.g., vCenter) and power on the VM.
Before installing, ensure your environment meets the minimum resource requirements for a single Controller node: 8 vCPUs RAM: 24 GB Disk: 128 GB
This is the most critical part of the initial phase as it allows the Controller to communicate with your infrastructure:
Create profiles that tell Avi how to assign IP addresses and DNS names to the Virtual Services you will create later.
Configure at least one DNS and one NTP server to ensure proper synchronization between the Controller and the Service Engines.
