Strawberries topped the Environmental Working Group’s (EWG) 2022 Dirty Dozen list as the most pesticide-contaminated produce for the seventh consecutive year. The 2022 report found that over 90% of samples for several items, including strawberries and kale, tested positive for at least two pesticides, highlighting widespread contamination in non-organic produce.
