Following King T'Challa's death, Queen Ramonda and Shuri must defend Wakanda from world powers and Namor, the leader of the underwater kingdom Talokan. After a devastating attack, Shuri recreates the Heart-Shaped Herb to become the new Black Panther and leads her people in a final battle against the Talokanil. Ultimately, Shuri chooses diplomacy over revenge, creating a secret alliance with Namor before visiting Haiti to meet T'Challa's son, Toussaint.
