Look for fabric scraps, ribbon, buttons, and even metal washers in your junk drawers.

Check local thrift stores, free little libraries, and hardware stores for wallpaper or paint sample cards. 2. Prepare the Foundation

Collect junk mail, receipts (store them carefully to prevent fading ), old greeting cards, and magazines.

Cut your collected papers into sizes slightly smaller than your cover and fold them in half. Different sizes are encouraged as they add to the "junky" aesthetic.
