The story follows (Nicolas Duvauchelle), a struggling novelist suffering from writer's block after his first successful book. He is hired by an elderly retiree, Albert Desiderio (Niels Arestrup), to ghostwrite his memoirs.
What initially seems like a romantic tale about Albert's late soulmate, (Alyzée Costes), quickly spirals into a dark confession of a serial killer couple. During the 1970s, the pair allegedly went on a murderous odyssey across the French Riviera.
