Spanning three decades—1993, 2001, and 2026—the film follows a single family whose lives are upended by three distinct, surreal miracles:

Set eight years later, the story shifts to a prison where a mentally challenged man named Gojko awaits execution for murder. Miraculous events offer him a bizarre reprieve, further complicating the film’s moral landscape.

A simple, kindhearted man named Stojan survives a freak light bulb accident and wakes up with a permanent, glowing halo. His wife, Nada, is embarrassed by the attention and, on the advice of a TV preacher, encourages Stojan to commit increasingly heinous sins to lose his "sainthood".
