While Captain Freeman is on the Pakled homeworld attempting a peace initiative, Commander Ransom and Lieutenant Kayshon host a Pakled "refugee" named Rumdar. It becomes immediately obvious that Rumdar is a spy—specifically a very bad one. He uses a "hidden" wrist camera to take photos of his own foot and blinds himself with the flash while trying to photograph a window. Seeking a faster track to promotion, Boimler joins
Ransom and Kayshon decide to play along, hoping Rumdar will accidentally reveal Pakled secrets. They take him on a tour of "highly sensitive" areas like the ship’s gift shop and the "secret" juice bar. The mission ends abruptly when Rumdar, mistaking an airlock for a bathroom, accidentally flushes himself into space.
