The music continued to play, and Elara felt herself being drawn deeper and deeper into this new world. She forgot about the rain, the damp stone, and the narrow alleyways. She forgot about her past and her future. For a moment, she was truly happy.
She looked down at the MP3 player in her hand. It was still there, but the music had stopped.
